So very, very, cold

The bitter cold temps today ranged from below zero this morning when I took the dogs out for their morning run through fields to a high of 8 degrees F. This was the scene that greeted the dogs and I as we headed out to the field to see what we could kick up on this frigid morning . Every small low spot that held any water was now glassy ice.
